Left St. Andrews, NB, today after 5 glorious days. Took our time on Canada Route 1 and passed through St. Johns. There we saw a Wal-Mart, McDonalds, and a Staples. Jeremiah, I would ask for a transfer to New Brunswick. It is so nice here!

Arrived at Fundy National Park around 4 p.m. and checked in. The site, 73A, is very private and good size. It sure doesn’t take too long to set up. After set-up we went to the Visitor’s Center and got a map of Fundy and signed up for an Edible Hike. Can’t wait to see what that is!!

Drove into the town of Alma, NB, “where the tides are the highest in the world!”  As you can see you have to take your boat out when the tide is right. We stopped at Butland’s Lobster Store and bought a cooked lobster and some haddock. Nice to get fresh fish.

Then on to Kelley’s Bake Shop for homemade goodies. I had a molasses cookie just like my grandmother use to make. It was fabulous! We got a loaf of raisin bread and Steve got a peanut butter cookie. Should not have discovered that store.

The General Store is the best place for groceries and gas. We picked up a bottle of wine and some Mooselight Beer and New England hot dog rolls to have lobster rolls tomorrow.

Steve saw the sign and wanted to join the Neighborhood Watch and the RCMP of Alma. He figures they will give him a horse and fancy hat!
